St. Michael Catholic School in Ridgetown will soon include a day care centre with the help of provincial funding.
The St. Clair Catholic District School Board says there is available space at the school for re-purposing to serve children under the age of four.
Construction costs of $284,500 will be covered from a child care retrofit program and fees, other disbursements and contingencies of $79,129 will be met from a school renewal allocation.
A local child care provider will operate the facility.
