Jennie Verbeek, 41, was killed after she was struck by a car while riding her mobility scooter at the intersection of Chatham St. N and Hannibal St. on June 11.
She was transported to hospital in Chatham and eventually airlifted to London, where she succumbed to her injuries.
A 33-year-old North Buxton man is facing a careless driving charge and will make a court appearance next month.
