Family Fun At Local Rodeo

The Ultimate Rodeo Tour has brought an action-packed western rodeo to Pain Court in support of Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers.

The event ran Friday night at Pain Court Park and featured exciting rodeo events including barrel racing, bareback and saddle bronc riding, and even bull riding.

Pain Court resident Chris Jenkins attended the event and says growing up around horses has given him and his family a real appreciation for the rodeo.

"We just brought our grandson out here to the rodeo. He likes holding his arm up when he sees the bull riders hold their one arm up. He does the same thing so we think it's pretty cool," says Jenkins.

All proceeds from the rodeo will go to CK Crime Stoppers, a program that assists police by encouraging members of the community to call anonymously with information that helps to solve or prevent crimes.
