Help Available For People Grieving

A program aimed at helping anyone cope with the death of a loved one is returning to Chatham.

Gregory Drive Alliance Church will again host GriefShare, an internationally recognized grief recovery support program.

Church volunteer Nina Van Kesteren says they've had positive feedback from the 13 week program in the past.

"'I needed to let my grief happen, I saw my grief so much more clearly,' one person said 'It was the turning point in my life, I thought it might be depressing but honestly it felt good to know that I'm not alone,'" says Van Kesteren. "So those are very important benefits that you are not alone in your grief."

The fall program will be held Thursday evenings from 6:30pm-8:30pm starting Thursday, September 17.

For more information or to register contact the church at 519-352-4580.
