A search warrant executed at a Chatham home has uncovered drugs and stolen construction materials.
Members of the Intelligence Unit raided the home last night, seizing about $2,500 worth of fentanyl and pot, a pair of brass knuckles, and ammunition.
Officers also recovered roofing nails and shingles that were stolen from construction sites.
A 33-year-old Chatham man has been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purposes of trafficking, two counts each of drug possession and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, unauthorized possession of a weapon, and four counts of possession of ammunition contrary to a probation order.
The accused is being held pending a bail hearing.
