In Great Lakes Junior C hockey action, the Wheatley Sharks topped the Lakeshore Canadiens 9-4.
The Canadiens opened the scoring through Kyle Gagnon before the Sharks fired back with three goals of their own and would never concede the lead again.
Nick Tavolieri-Essex led the way for the Sharks with five goals and an assist while Andreas Gossman added four assists. Brett Bowman had a five point night with two goals and three assists while Brian Johnson and Brady Hillock notched markers as well.
The Canadiens outshot the Sharks 30-28, including 15 shots in the second period on the Sharks net.
