Canada's first NBA Developmental League team is coming to Windsor to face the Express.
The Toronto Raptors affiliate Raptors 905 will visit the WFCU Centre on November 5 at 7:30pm.
Windsor Director of Basketball Operations Bill Jones says it's a great measuring stick for, not only the Express' players, but the entire NBL of Canada.
"We're playing them (Raptors 905) and then London is playing them a couple days after us," he explains. "So if we go out and fair well, we have an opportunity to show that the National Basketball League of Canada is something to be reckoned with."
The Thursday evening game will be the first ever exhibition game for the Raptors 905 franchise, and is scheduled well ahead of Express training camp, which opens on December 10. Their first regular season game is at home against the Orangeville A's on Boxing Day.
