Spitfires Fall To Attack In OT

Despite a comeback in the third period, the Windsor Spitfires fell 4-3 to the Owen Sound Attack in overtime.

On Sunday, the Attack took a 2-1 lead at the end of the second period, and extended their lead with another goal at the beginning of the third. However, Windsor was able to score two more goals to tie the game and force OT.  Owen Sound scored the game winning goal 35 seconds into extra time.

Aaron Luchuk, Gabriel Vilardi and Anthony Stefano each scored a goal for Windsor.

The Spitfires return to the ice on Thursday to take on the North Bay Battalion at 7pm.
