One-On-One With Justin Trudeau (VIDEO)

Back in January BlackburnNews.com sat down for a one-on-one interview with Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau, who will now be Canada's next Prime Minister.

Speaking about Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent he said there's tremendous opportunity for job growth, investments and improvements to the region.

Trudeau also assured locals that "manufacturing is a key part" of the country's success.

"We have to do a better job of partnering with companies like Ford and others to draw in that investment here, to say look, these advantages here mean you're going to get a better product," he says. "This means you're going to get better opportunities, better growth."

With the three ridings in Windsor-Essex being NDP, plus Chatham-Kent-Leamington and Lambton-Kent-Middlesex being Conservative, many are wondering how much attention we'll get in the area.

Watch to see what Trudeau had to say when we sat down with him in January.
