It may not be flu season yet but it is flu shot season in Chatham-Kent.
Public health nurse Brett Goudreau says the first shipment of the vaccine has arrived at the Health Unit.
"He have started to put it out in the community, our hospitals and long term care facilities will be our priority," he says. "As well our family doctors and health care teams will be getting their vaccine later this week into early next week."
The Health Unit will not be holding clinics this year because once they became available at pharmacies numbers at the clinics declined sharply.
