Public elementary students in Lambton-Kent will not be getting fall report cards.
A letter from the board, posted on its website, says progress reports are being postponed because of the current labour situation with teachers and support staff.
The reports were scheduled to go to homes November 13, but teachers are not writing comments as part of their work-to-rule campaign.
When the labour situation is resolved the board says arrangements will be made for schools to communicate with parents and guardians about the progress of students within a reasonable time frame.
Report cards are being postponed at most public school boards in Ontario.
