A Chatham man, wanted for assault and resisting arrest, has been apprehended.
On May 9, police were called to a motel on Grand Ave. E after a man, upset by how much he was being charged for a room, got into an argument with two employees that turned physical.
When officers were attempting to take him into custody, police say he pulled his arms away and allegedly tried to resist arrest. He was taken to hospital for an assessment, and a warrant was issued.
The 28-year-old was arrested yesterday afternoon and released pending a future court date.
