Noelle's Gift has officially become a registered charity.
Noelle’s Gift is focused on ensuring every student in Lambton County has the resources needed to thrive, including adequate nutrition, shoes and school supplies.
Spokesperson Nicole Knowles says they will now be able to write their own tax receipts.
She says it will also allow them to help other communities.

Knowles says a few of Noelle's friends in Ottawa are on board with helping them expand into other regions.
So far the charity has raised well over $500,000 for local children.
The charity was formed after the tragic death of 27-year-old school teacher Noelle Paquette in early 2013.
