A pair of Jr. C hockey games are taking place across the region.
The last-place Wallaceburg Lakers have a tough test as they head to Essex to take on the top-ranked 73's.
Lakers head coach and GM Marc Swayze says his team's current 12-game losing streak is taking a toll on the players.
"The blowouts are hard to handle," says Swayze. "You just want to be competitive and have a chance to win the game in the third period and we've done that a bunch lately."
Puck drop is set for 7pm at Essex Memorial Arena.
Elsewhere tonight, the Dresden Kings are on the road in Alvinston facing the Flyers at 7:30pm.
