The Maroons scored a 3-0 lead in the first period and extended it to 5-1 in the second. Chatham then scored one final goal in the third to seal the win.
Austin Thompson led Chatham with two goals, while Michael Levesque, Declan Conway, Steven Beenackers and Ross Krieger each scored one.
The Maroons will take on the Lambton Shores Predators on January 16 at 7:30pm.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
Both couples won in the April 11 draw.
