Charges have been laid against two London men following a three-vehicle crash on Hwy. 401, near Chatham.
OPP say a tractor trailer was stopped in the westbound lanes of the busy highway near Orford Rd. just before 11am Tuesday, when it was rear-ended by a straight truck. A second straight truck then slammed into the back of the first one.
Fortunately, no one was injured.
Police say visibility and road conditions were poor at the time of the crash.
Prosper Tagarisa, 37, and 21-year-old Tawaka Muzamhindo, both of London, are charged with careless driving.
Police are reminding motorists these types of collisions are preventable if drivers would slow down and leave lots of space between vehicles in deteriorating road and weather conditions.
