Second Season At Kent 1874

The former Baptist Church that has been converted into a William St. Chatham events venue kicks off its new concert series tonight.

Stephen Keating owner of The Kent 1874 says concerts and events held there after it opened last July were very successful and he is looking forward to holding more.

"Music and celebration was always an important part of this building's history and we're absolutely thrilled to continue that tradition," he says. "We have an acoustically superb venue and we really want to have musicians come here and share their talent."

Tonight's concert features Superfly, the group that opened for the Beach Boys in Chatham-Kent.

Another concert is set for next month a Johnny Cash tribute band will be performing on his birthday February 26.
