A 32-year-old Chatham man remains in custody waiting for a bail hearing after police found some illegal weapons and some cannabis at his residence.
Police executed a search warrant yesterday and found a butterfly knife, switchblade and a set of nunchucks.
They also seized $7,000 worth of marijuana and cannabis resin and some cash.
The suspect faces two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking , drug possession, six counts of failure to comply, three counts of possession of a weapon and 18 counts of failure to abide by a prohibition order.
