Marijuana And Brass Knuckles Seized

Two men are facing a long list of charges after getting stopped for speeding in Dealtown.

An officer pulled over the truck on Talbot Trl. near Four Rod Rd. for allegedly going 93 km/h in a 60 km/h zone.

The driver allegedly gave a false name, but an investigation revealed he was currently suspended from driving for unpaid fines, and was not suppose to be in the company of his passenger.

After searching the vehicle, brass knuckles, and marijuana were seized by police.

The driver, a 52-year-old Raleigh Township man is charged with speeding, two counts of driving while under suspension, obstructing police, possession of a prohibited weapon, four counts of failing to comply, and drug possession.

The 44-year-old passenger from Camden Township is charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, two counts of facilitating the offence of failing to comply and drug possession.
