A Highway Traffic Act charge laid following a fatal car-motorcycle crash last October has been resolved with a guilty plea.
Magdelaine Jack, 59, of Blenheim pleaded guilty to making an unsafe turn yesterday after having been originally charged with careless driving.
The crash happened October 27, 2015 when a car heading south on Erieau Rd. turned on Bisnett Line into the path of the Harley Davidson.
The rider, 49-year-old Clifford Jamie Stokes of Erieau died of his injuries in hospital ten days later.
Jack was fined $800 and and a victim surcharge fee.
