Fire has destroyed a barn in Mapleton Township.
Wellington County OPP, Mapleton Fire and Rescue, and Minto firefighters responded to the alarm at 11:30 this morning.
The barn on Concession 12 near Wellington road 9 was engulfed in flames when crews arrived .
About 50 cattle perished in the blaze.
Concession 12 was closed from Side Road 3 to Side Road 6 as fire crews continued to battle the flames.
