Environment Canada has lifted severe thunderstorm watches that covered most of southwestern Ontario.
The watches were issued Sunday, as a series of thunderstorms swept across the region. Severe thunderstorm warnings were also issued for London-Middlesex, Chatham-Kent, Oxford, and Windsor-Essex.
At one point, OPP closed a section of Hwy. 40 because hydro poles were brought down by high winds.
No injuries have been reported.
