A 39-year-old Chatham woman nearly ran down security with her vehicle after allegedly stealing from the local Walmart. Chatham-Kent police say she left the store on Friday with about $90 worth of unpaid items. When security approached her and tried to place her under arrest, police say she aggressively resisted. She made it to her vehicle, sped away and nearly hit the security guard. Police arrested her moments later and charged her with theft, resisting arrest and dangerous driving.
