Emergency crews are still at the scene of a large fire at a warehouse in Wallaceburg and police are asking motorists to avoid the area if possible.
Wallace St. is closed between Pearl St. and Huron St. as a result of the fire.
Earlier this morning, officers issued a warning to residents who live on Old Glass Rd. to close their windows and stay inside because the black smoke is potentially harmful.
Police say fire crews responded to the call at around 4:45am.
Early reports indicate the building may have fertilizer inside.
