Habitat Floored By Support From Sacwal

Habitat for Humanity officials in Chatham-Kent have another community partner on board to help them build affordable homes in the community.

Sacwal Flooring has committed to providing the flooring and its installation for every Habitat for Humanity Home that will be built in Chatham-Kent.

Habitat's Executive Director Nancy McDowell says that will amount to approximately $6,000 per project.

"We are thrilled to be partnering with Sacwal," McDowell said in a release. "Our partnership has grown over the year to include donations to our ReStore, volunteer involvement on our ReStore committee, advertising collaboration and fundraising support."

McDowell says the donations that Sacwal is making to the ReStore include some of its discontinued flooring.

Sacwal also recently hosted a barbeque fundraiser where it raised $1,000 in support of Habitat's local work.

McDowell says they're grateful to all of their partners and adds they are always looking for more businesses to team up with them for their projects.
