A man is charged after police responded to a weapons call at the Ontario Court of Justice in Chatham on Friday.
Police report an employee witnessed a man with a weapon — thought to be a handgun — arguing with a woman in the parking lot.
Responding officers found their suspect in his vehicle. Police say a pellet-handgun made to look like a real gun was found in the suspect's vehicle.
The man, who is charged with uttering threats and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, was not identified by police and was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
