Canada Day will mean a number of service changes and closures in the Municipality of Chatham-Kent.

Chatham-Kent Transit will not run on Canada Day, but the Beach Bus will be operational, travelling to Erieau and Mitchell's Bay. Garbage and recycling collection is being pushed back by one day, with the Harwich, Wallaceburg and Chatham transfer stations all closed.

All municipal offices and libraries will be closed, as well as the Public Utilities Commission and Entegrus buildings.

At the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, routine x-rays, EKGs and ultrasounds will be unavailable.

Out-patient rehab services, mental health and addictions programming and patient appointment offices are also all closed. The Elston Pharmacy inside the hospital is closed, as well as the CKHA's Oncology/Chemotherapy Department.
