Chatham-Kent police have recovered $55,000 worth of cocaine following a drug bust in the municipality.
Working with London police, Chatham-Kent officers performed what they called a "lengthy surveillance investigation" centered around cocaine being brought into CK.
On July 8 the CKPS arrested a 33-year-old Chatham man and 32-year-old WIndsor man, charging them with possession for the purpose of trafficking. That's also when they recovered the cocaine.
The Chatham man was also charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and six counts of breach of recognizance. The two have been held in custody bending a bail hearing.
