The Ontario Provincial Police have completed their initial investigation into a fatal collision on Morris Rd. in Lakeshore.
Police say the collision happened around 2:30am. A Chevrolet pickup truck, travelling eastbound on Morris Rd. lost control and ended up in a farm field on the north side of the road.
The driver has been identified as 67-year-old George Willms of Lakeshore.
Willms was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have since reopened Morris Rd. between Richardson Sideroad and Lee Ave.
