Local businesses are joining Chatham-Kent firefighters in their efforts to end breast cancer.
The Chatham-Kent Professional Firefighters Association has launched their Brave Enough To Wear Pink campaign, selling pink shirts to support breast cancer research.
"There are firefighters here with wives, mothers, daughters that have been touched by the cancer," says firefighter Barrie Christie. "We are a family here, and if we can rally up together and give our support for the month of October, we're all for it."
The pink shirts will be on sale at fire stations 1 and 3 in Chatham and Wallaceburg from 9am until 7pm, as well as at The Loft in downtown Chatham.
