Driver Caught Speeding Twice

Chatham-Kent OPP have laid charges after they caught a motorist speeding twice within a span of nine minutes.

On Monday, officers say they clocked a vehicle going over 130 km/hr on Hwy. 401 near Orford Rd.

Police say the driver told them she had been caught speeding less than ten minutes earlier.

As a result, a 20-year-old London woman has been issued a Provincial Offences Notice. She is also charged with speeding and driving a motor vehicle without a valid permit. She has been given a future court date.
