Home And Leisure Show Hits Chatham

Being in Southwestern Ontario, Chatham-Kent residents get a little more time to work on their homes inside and out.

The Chatham-Kent Home and Leisure Show at the John D. Bradley Centre will likely be a great spot to get some inspiration this weekend.

"Now people start looking at their houses to see what needs to get done," says organizer Greg Hetherington. "Whether it's interior things, or if you want to work a little bit outside. It's Southern Ontario, so there's still some roofing, windows and door opportunities people can get into until December."

He adds as many as 80 booths will be available until Sunday.

"They're all home renovations, home improvements; things from carpeting flooring to roofing. Anything you need for your house is pretty much here," says Hetherington.

The show will be open from 9am to 5pm Saturday, and 10am to 3pm Sunday. Entry costs $4, with proceeds going to the Foundation of Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.
