Less than 24-hours after the Toronto Maple Leafs released Wallaceburg native Seth Griffith, the forward has been claimed off waivers by the Florida Panthers.

The 23-year-old right-winger dressed for just three games with the Leafs, after the team picked him up off waivers from Boston at the start of the season.

He was held pointless during his time with Toronto.
