Chatham-Kent police have charged three people after discovering a number of rifles and other firearms in a Harwich Township home.
Police say their Critical Incident Response Team executed a search warrant in Harwich Wednesday. During the search they found two rifles, a shotgun, a loaded .22 caliber revolver and .22 caliber are rifle. They seized the firearms along with ammunition.
Now a 60-year-old man and 36-year-old woman are charged with being in possession of firearms contrary to their prohibition order.
Another man, aged 47, is charged with two counts of failing to comply. Police allege he was in possession of a weapon and not at his court-ordered address.
The three suspects were transferred to the Chatham Courthouse for a bail hearing.
