The first New Year's Day baby born at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA) is a healthy baby girl.
Winter Gray Malott was born Sunday afternoon at 3:27pm. She weighs 7lbs 5oz and measures at 19".

Jessica and Codie Malott are the proud parents of the newborn.
This is the first child for the Chatham couple.
"We're really excited," says Jessica. "We can't wait to see how she grows."
Both baby and mother are doing well.
