Chatham-Kent OPP say what started as a routine traffic stop ended with a driver facing drug and alcohol-related charges.
Police say they pulled over a vehicle at around 12:15am Tuesday morning, because it didn't have a rear licence plate.
While officers were investigating, they found some crystal meth, some painkillers, some marijuana, and some open alcohol in the vehicle.
A 32-year-old Chatham man is now facing a number of charges including possession of a controlled substance, driving with open liquor in a vehicle, and driving while under suspension.
He's set to appear in court in February.
