The Sarnia Legionnaires have acquired Corunna's Josh Barraclough from the Chatham Maroons.
The 17-year-old Barraclough, in his second season in the GOJHL, had nine goals and 22 points in 32 games this season.
Head Coach Mark Davis says Barraclough will be a great addition to the hockey club.
"He brings size and speed on the right side, works the corners well and has a touch around the net," says Davis. "It's great to have another local player like josh join our team."
The former Lambton Jr Sting was a ninth round selection by the Peterborough Petes in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection.
A multi-sport athlete, Barraclough spends his summers playing lacrosse. He had 19 points in his first full season with the Point Edward Jr. B Pacers last season.
Barraclough will make his Legionnaires debut Thursday night when they host the London Nationals at Sarnia Arena.
