Guest Speakers To Highlight Seniors Fair

The Active Lifestyle Centre in Chatham is getting ready to host their annual Seniors Fair.

The event, now in its seventh year, is taking place this Friday, from 9am until 1pm.

This is the first year that they're bringing in guest speakers.

"The first one is going to be the Ontario Securities Commission and they're talking about protecting your money," says coordinator Jan Reinhardus. "They're going to showcase red flags for investment fraud, and answering questions before you invest your money."

The Seniors Fair is free and lunch is included.

"It's a fair that people can come to and find out as much information and the best information they possibly can," says coordinator Cheryl Sterling. "All in one place without having to travel here there and all over."
