Nationals Shut Out Flyers in Game 4 2-0

Cameron Zanussi picked up his second straight shutout in goal Sunday night for the London Nationals.

Zanussi turned away all 33 of the Leamington Flyers' shots in their 2-0 win at the Kinsmen Recreation Centre.  With the Game 4 win in the best-of-seven GOJHL Western Conference Finals series, the Nationals lead three games to one.

Zanussi extends his shut-out streak in goal to 126 minutes and 27 seconds, and has not allowed a goal since Game 2.

Michael Andlauer opened the scoring in the first period with Richard Whittaker and Kyle Dawson on the assist.  That was the only score of the opening frame.

Adam Sinclair doubled the London lead on a power play goal, assisted by Quinn Lenihan.   There was no scoring in the third period.  Each team had six power play opportunities with the Sinclair goal the only one scored with the extra-man advantage.

Noah Hedrick had 31 saves in goal for the Flyers.

The Nationals can close out the finals on Wednesday with Game 5 at the Western Fair Community Centre.  Puck drop is 7:30pm.
