Knights Top Otters In Game 1

The London Knights blanked the Erie Otters 2-0 in Game 1 on Thursday, in the second round of OHL playoffs.

After a scoreless first period, Mitchell Stephens scored 14:23 into the second to give the Knights a 1-0 advantage.  Evan Bouchard added another goal to London's lead after scoring with 34 seconds left in the frame.

London was able to keep Erie at bay in the final period to complete the shutout and take a 1-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.

London goaltender Tyler Parsons made 46 saves to keep the Otters scoreless.

The Knights are in Erie on Friday for Game 2. The two teams face off at 7pm.
