Spitfires Ready For Downtown Parade

The parade route is set for the Windsor Spitfires' Mastercard Memorial Cup championship celebration.

It starts at 6pm, Wednesday, at the intersection of Wyandotte St. and Ouellette Ave., downtown.

The parade will head north, all the way down to Riverside Dr., where it will turn toward the Riverfront Festival Plaza.

Fans can then join the team at the plaza to hear speeches and get autographs.

Championship memorabilia will also be available for purchase.

"The Spitfire players, leadership and ownership have brought so much excitement and pride to our community that this is our way of saying thank you before everyone disperses for the summer," says Windsor Mayor Drew Dilkens.
