Over 5,000 people will descend on Tecumseh Park on Saturday, June 3rd for the CK Youth Festival.
Rachel Pray, Coordinator of Chatham-Kent Recreation Services, says they'll have 19 different inflatables, plus they have some special guests lined up.
"This year's our 10th Annual Youth Festival happening at Tecumseh Park in Chatham," says Pray. "We have a big draw this year, it's going to be our PJ Masks characters. So all three PJ Masks, Catboy, Gecko, and Owelette will be there for the entire event."
Mad Science from Windsor will be doing large-scale science experiments. There will also be face painting.
Pray says the event is a great opportunity to learn about all the summer programs.
"For day camps, to one-day camps, to evening programs throughout the summer, there's a huge variety for things to choose from. Then the kids are entertained with the face painting, and the inflatables, and all the different interactive activities that we will have there."
The event is free and runs from 11 am until 3 pm.
