The fireworks show that was supposed to take place in Chatham on Friday, June 30 will not take place this weekend.
Organizers posted on their Facebook page Saturday afternoon that they will know more after meeting with the fireworks sponsor GreenField Global and the company that was going to put on the show.
A previous post indicated that too much rain on Thursday and Friday made the ground "unstable for firework detonation."

Tilbury Fireworks Rescheduled For Sunday
The fireworks show in Tilbury that was rained out Friday night is set to take place on Sunday, July 2 at dusk.
Anyone who is interested in showing up is encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to Memorial Park in Tilbury Sunday evening.
