Several communities in Chatham-Kent's south end are holding Canada 150 celebrations Saturday.
In North Buxton, the Buxton National Historic Site and Museum will be hosting various free activities from 1pm to 3pm.
There will be a special "A Day in the Life of the Buxton Settlement - 1867" theme with various activities in each of the buildings -- the log cabin, the barn, and the school.
In Blenheim, there will be a community event starting at 6pm at Glad Tidings Community Church on Chatham St. with fireworks to follow at dusk.
And in Erieau, there will be a community fireworks show with a dunk tank and a bouncy castle in the evening.
The events get underway at 5pm at the Laverne Kelly Memorial Park on Mariners Rd.
The fireworks show will start at 10pm.
