There have been many reports of a storm that blew through Mitchell's Bay area last night, causing serious damage.
Meteorologist Desjanelle Matthews says Environment Canada is still collecting information about the storm.
"So far we only have reports of uprooted trees and snapped branches. There was also a report of quarter-sized hail," says Matthews.
Some locals also reported seeing twister-like winds in the area.
"We did hear about one tweet of a funnel, though we did not get any evidence," says Matthews.
Anyone with photos or information about the storm is asked to contact Environment Canada.
