A summertime tradition will take place this weekend in Dresden.
The 142nd Dresden Exhibition opens Friday night, and runs through to Sunday. Admission to the fair is free.
"It runs all weekend starting Friday night at 6pm with the parade," says co-organizer Jay Sutherland. "They have a midway this year again, they're doing an all-day pass Friday night for kids for the rides. They've got Mutton Bustin' it's wild, the kids get on the back of the sheep and ride. There's a soapbox derby on Sunday."
There are also the agricultural displays and animal shows, plus live harness horse racing on Sunday.
Sutherland is helping organize the tractor pull, which has been expanded to two days this year.
"Typically it's just the Friday night, this year we're doing Friday night, Saturday afternoon, and Saturday night. Lots of pulling action from all across Ontario and parts of Michigan. It's a big show."
Tickets for the tractor pull are $15, and kids under 10 get in for free.
