Two people are dead after a school explosion in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The explosion happened Wednesday morning at the Minnehaha Academy Upper School. Officials say it appears to have been caused by contractors working on the building. The Minneapolis Fire Department says a gas line was accidentally ruptured.
At least nine people have been injured and taken to Hennepin County Medical Center.
A Facebook post from the academy says that all students on the premises for summer programs and day camps have been accounted for and are safe. Some programs continued Wednesday afternoon as usual.
The fire department says three more people have been rescued from the roof of the building.
