Hundreds Of Artists Head To Erieau

Thousands of people are expected at an annual event in Erieau on Saturday.

Art on the Boulevard kicks off Saturday morning, with live music performances set to run from 10am until 4pm.

Organizer Mary Anne Patterson says people will get to see forms of art, ranging from paintings to pottery.

"We've got a very wide boulevard now that accommodates people and we have a brand new gazebo as well where we're having entertainment -- music playing throughout the day," she says.

Just over a 100 artists will be taking part in Art on the Boulevard.

"It's about a year-long process of getting ready," she says. "We start accepting registrations from artists in February and this year we filled within about six weeks."

In addition, Patterson says they'll also have the Home and Cottage Tour running from 10am-2pm.
