Victims Of Fiery Crash Identified

The OPP have identified the people who died as a result of a single-vehicle collision in Leamington Sunday morning.

Brandon Froese, 26, of Leamington and Miranda Brown, 21, of Wheatley, both died when the vehicle they were in struck a cement barrier, rupturing a large carbon dioxide tank, resulting in an explosion and fire.

The crash happened on Mersea Rd. 5 early Sunday morning. OPP closed the road between Hwy. 77 and Mersea Rd. 12 for approximately six hours to complete the on scene investigation.

A friend has set up a GoFundMe campaign and is planning a fundraising car cruise to help the families with the funeral costs. Click here for more information.
