Someone who bought a lottery ticket in Chatham recently is now a millionaire.
OLG says one of two winning tickets for the September 20, 2017 Lotto 6/49 draw worth a little over $12.2-million was sold in Chatham.
The winnings will be split two ways, so someone who bought their ticket in the city is now $6.1-million richer.
The other jackpot winning ticket was sold in Quebec.
Another Guaranteed $1 Million Prize was won on a ticket that was sold in Toronto.
It's not clear yet where the jackpot winning ticket was sold in Chatham or who bought it.
